  1. HELP! I placed my order online, but have not received a confirmation of my order.

Please wait a few hours for your confirmation to arrive in your email and check your spam folders. If after a few hours your confirmation email still hasn’t arrived and isn’t in your spam/junk folders, contact Otis the Customer Service Corgi & he’ll fetch it for you.

  1. Score! I received my order confirmation. When will my order ship?

Once you've completed the obligatory "My Stands stuff is ordered!” Happy Dance, in stock items will be processed and shipped out 2-5 business days after your order has been placed. You will receive a shipping confirmation as soon as your item ships out. Items that have been listed as “backorder” on our website will ship out within 2-5 days of their arrival at our warehouse. Most back-ordered items arrive at our warehouse within 2-3 weeks. If your order is delayed, it’s probably because you didn’t do the Happy Dance. 

  1. What is your return/exchange policy?

If you decide it’s just not working out, we’ll take your items back—but we don’t want your sloppy seconds. All returned item(s) must be unused, unwashed, tagged, in original condition. They must also never have been wrapped in bacon, because Otis has no restraint around bacon. All full price merchandise is eligible for return or exchange within 30 days of delivery. But if you got it on sale, you’re stuck with it—all sale items are final sale. No returns. No exchanges. Learn to live with your choices.

Making a return? Email Otis to receive an RA number before returning your items back to our warehouse. Exchange items will be shipped free of charge. Please allow 3 to 7 days for the processing of your exchange once your return item is received.

  1. What is the difference between your unisex and ladies t-shirt sizes?

Gender isn’t a binary; it’s a spectrum, and shirts aren’t gendered anyway, but these are the labels the fashion industry is currently using with so go with us on this: Unisex t-shirts have a more relaxed fit and ladies’ shirts are meant to be worn snug to the body. However, in an effort to keep from stifling your creativity, feel free to come up with new and interesting ways to wear our shirts: on your head, as pants—whatever floats your boat. For the most accurate sizing, please refer to the size chart links on our product pages.

  1. How do your flash campaigns work?

Flash campaign items are designed in collaboration with actors to help bring awareness to charitable causes. Each flash campaign runs for a 2-3 week window. Once the flash campaign window has closed, all orders will be processed and shipped out. Depending on the amount of items sold, there may be a backorder delay of 2-3 weeks. Customers will receive a shipping confirmation via email when the items are shipped. Feel free to do a second Happy Dance at this point. Stands donates a portion of net profits of each sale to the charity listed on the flash campaign page. Additionally, actors are invited to donate to their selected charity and most do.

  1. How do donations to the Actors' Causes work?

We’re thrilled to announce that, depending on the specific campaign and inventory, between 10% and 50% of the net proceeds of the sale of each item are donated to the Actor's charity. Factors such as volume production, costs of products offered, advertising, fulfillment, discounts, matching funds and promotions factor into the final distributions so the exact amount won't be known until quarterly donations are made to charities. If you would like 100% of your donation to go to the charity, we encourage you to visit the charities' websites and donate directly.

  1. I  placed an order that is on backorder. When will I receive my order?

Patience is a virtue, so sit tight: backordered items will typically ship 2-3 weeks after your order is placed. Please note the specific ship window listed on each product page. As soon as your item becomes available, your order will be processed and you will receive a shipment confirmation with tracking details.

  1. I received the wrong item. WHAT DO I DO?

Don’t panic! Mix-ups happen sometimes. Please email Otis the Customer Service Corgi at support@shopstands.com with your name, email and order number and the correct item will be shipped out to you right away. You will be sent a pre-paid shipping label to return the item you received by mistake. (No, you can’t keep it forever.)

  1. Is my purchase considered a charitable donation that is eligible for a tax deduction in the U.S.?

Purchases made on shopstands.com are not eligible for a tax deduction.

  1. What is the VAT tax?

Stands is required to charge VAT tax on all orders that ship within the UK. To comply, you will see a 20% VAT tax being added to your orders to applicable countries. This tax does not go to Stands, it is a government tax and is mandatory.
