Ticket Type

Spooky season calls for strange stories. Tim Downie has a whole book of them.

Join Momentus and actor, podcaster, and author Tim Downie (Baldur's Gate 3, Good Omens, Paddington, and more!) for a spirited conversation inspired by his forthcoming book, Rituals: A Folk Journey Through the Seasons. We’re exploring the curious customs, mysterious places, and enduring traditions of British folklore—and the people keeping them alive.

From Punkies to blazing tar barrels, Tim’s travels uncover a world where the wonderfully weird is cause for celebration. Together, we’ll discuss stories from the book, the pull of these age-old rituals, and why folklore still captures our imaginations.

📅 Date: November 1st, 2026
🕒 Time: 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm GMT
📍 Location: Online – Join from anywhere!

Premium Variants ("Book + Signed Bookplate + GA" and "M&G + Book + Signed Bookplate + GA") will include a physical copy of Rituals: A Folk Journey Through the Seasons and an exclusive bookplate, designed by our team and hand-signed by Tim. Please note that books and signed bookplates may take up to 45 days after the event to deliver, depending on the guest's availability and international shipping turnarounds.

This event takes place on Zoom at the time designated above and is internationally accessible. Most Momentus events run for 45 to 60 minutes (excluding the meet & greet portion), but runtimes may vary. Ticket-holders will receive a dedicated Zoom access link in the days prior to the event. Come prepared with questions for our Q&A portion!

Meet & Greet spots are extremely limited and expected to sell out quickly. These sessions are intentionally kept small to create a more personal, meaningful interaction, so if this is the experience you want, we recommend securing your spot early. Each M&G participant will get a chance to ask our guest one question on-camera (general conduct guidelines may apply). Meet & Greets take place directly after the main event!

HOW DOES MOMENTUS WORK?

You can chose between GENERAL ADMISSION and GA + MEET & GREET.

  • General Admission: Participate in our event LIVE with event chat, shout-outs, and access to viewable video you can rewatch after the Momentus event! Ten lucky General Admission ticket holders will be picked at random to receive Front Row access! The Front-Row will be able to interact with the Host, so be prepared... you may be called upon during the show!
  • General Admission + Meet & Greet: Upgrade your ticket to include an exclusive post-event Meet & Greet! You must have a General Admission in order to join our Meet & Greet sessions.

These events are held through Zoom. So make sure your Zoom app is updated.

These will sell out fast, so purchase this option as soon as possible.

Meet & Greet sessions will be offered on a limited basis and are generally a roughly 20-minute roundtable with up to 15 participants.

Additional event Meet & Greet opportunities or sessions may become available, based on the Guest Host's schedule, but may not be bundled.

A portion of all ticket sales will support our Guest Host's charity of choice. Our charity partners provide vital resources, support and advocacy for needful causes, communities, people, flora, fauna and initiatives!

Our company will donate a portion of profits to extend our support and commitment to our Guest Host's efforts.
